Organisation plan of the ZBW

The ZBW is a member of the Leibniz Association.

It is a foundation under public law seated in Kiel and present at two locations in Kiel and Hamburg. The foundation council is its supervisory body. In matters of librarianship the ZBW is attended by an advisory council.

Since June 2010 the ZBW is headed by Prof. Dr. Klaus Tochtermann.

Annexed immediately to the director’s department are administrative units, staff sections, IT and technical infrastructure, IT development as well as the editorial department of the journals “Wirtschaftsdienst” and “Intereconomics”.
