Remodelling of the Hamburg branch

Dear ZBW customers,

You have been very patient with us during the remodelling of our Hamburg branch on Neuer Jungfernstieg. The first phase of the work will soon be finished and we are happy to inform you that we can relocate the loan desk and the journals reading room to the ground floor. We hope to have the entire building project finished by the end of November so that we can offer you more generous spacing and modern work areas.

For the relocation, and the preparation of the second phase of the building project on the first floor, we have to close our branch on Neuer Jungfernstieg during the time from 5 August 17:00 until 12 August 2011.

During this time you can return books at the porter’s lounge in Hamburg. Accounts for overdue fines can be settled again once the loan desk is accessible again.
