HANDS-ON WORKSHOP: GOOD SCIENTIFIC PRACTICE AND REPRODUCIBLE RESEARCH WITH STATA
Please note: The workshop is already fully booked!
More and more frequently, national and international research funders as well as economics journals stipulate that data and analyses generated from projects and for publications must be accessible to the public in order to enable verification of published research and the reuse of generated data.
Our workshop addresses PhD candidates and Master students working with quantitative data in economic research who use STATA software.
In this workshop we provide information and showcase examples for the processing of data and datasets that meet the requirements of renowned journals or third-party funders. We give an overview of corresponding guidelines from research funders, journals and professional societies. Participants will jointly work on concrete examples and learn how datasets and analyses should be described and documented in order to ensure the reproducibility of their own research.
