Der deutsche Fußball wird durch einen neuen Wettskandal erschüttert. Opfer der Wettmanipulationen sind vor allem die Zuschauer, die fairen Sport sehen wollen. Die Fußballfunktionäre glaubten, nach dem Hoyzer-Skandal alle notwendigen Vorkehrungen getroffen zu haben, um eine Wiederholung auszuschließen. Doch es gibt eine Reihe von Gründen, weshalb gerade der Fußball für Manipulationen anfällig ist.
