ECONIS Select – Zentralbank-Kommunikation

Geldpolitische Entscheidungen und insbesondere Zinsbeschlüsse der US-Notenbank werden nach der Sitzung des Federal Open Market Committees (FOMC) gewöhnlich als Pressemitteilung an die Öffentlichkeit weitergegeben. Grund für diese vorsichtige Kommunikationsform ist die Tatsache, dass Erklärungen der Fed globale Einflüsse haben können.

Nun hat das FOMC erstmals in seiner Geschichte einen offensiveren Kommunikationskanal gewählt und eine Pressekonferenz gegeben, auf der die zuvor getroffene Entscheidung über die geldpolitische Ausrichtung der nächsten Monate erläutert wurde.

Welche Rolle die Kommunikation der Zentralbanken für Märkte und Wirtschaftssubjekte spielt und wie die manchmal kryptisch anmutenden Aussagen der Notenbanker zu deuten sind, ist Gegenstand der nachfolgenden Literaturzusammenstellung aus unserer Datenbank Econis.
