Bei IBM nennt man es "Liquid" in anderen Unternehmen "Stellenabbau": Outsourcing gilt nach wie vor als effektives Instrument, um Fixkosten im Unternehmen zu senken. Vor allem IT-, Personal- und Logistik-Services sind betroffen. Nicht immer dient eine Auslagerung von Geschäftsprozessen tatsächlich dem Unternehmenserfolg: denn mit der Kostenersparnis gehen der Velust von Expertise sowie ein erhöhter Bedarf an Koordination einher.
