“Restructuring Economies, Transforming Societies” is the topic of the Global Economic Symposium 2014 to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 6 to 8 September. About 600 decision-makers from political and business circles, the scientific community and society are expected to attend the GES 2014.
In over 40 sessions on the three major topic ranges of the GES 2014 – Towards Sustainable Economies, Towards Equitable Societies und Towards Adequate Governance – solutions are sought to global problems.
The GES 2014 will be organised by the IfW in cooperation with the German National Library of Economics – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics (ZBW).
This year’s host is the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), one of Malaysia’s leading universities.
A large number of renowned international experts will give impetus towards resolving global issues.
