The Open Science Conference 2021 focuses on the topic of crisis & science communication:

  • What effects do current crises have on open research practices and science communication?
  • What do we learn from crises to sustainably ensure the openness of science in the future?
  • What innovations are there to establish open science practices for different scientific communities?
  • What are the benefits of open science practices for science and society, for example in managing crises?
  • What best practices exist internationally in terms of knowledge transfer of open science practices and science communication for the general public?

The International Open Science Conference is a joint event of the ZBW - Leibniz Information Centre for Economics and the Leibniz Research Network Open Science. It offers a unique forum to discuss the latest developments in the field of Open Science.
