Compliance management system (CMS)
We live compliance as part of our foundation culture. For this to work, it is important to avoid risks that could endanger the trust of our employees, cooperation partners and other parties. A compliance management system was created and established for this purpose. It aims to ensure compliance with statutory and foundation law guidelines by documenting processes and communicating any problems that arise in a transparent manner. Its measures and instruments support our employees and our partners in acting in accordance with uniform values and rules in our day-to-day foundation work.
Behaviour in accordance with the rules
The primary goal is to identify potential misconduct as early as possible. To this end, we have integrated a legally compliant whistleblower system that gives our employees the opportunity to report possible compliance violations to us.
Such a violation exists, for example, if our employees violate applicable law or internal guidelines, instructions or service agreements in the course of their day-to-day work or if the violation is committed against our employees. These include corruption and data protection violations as well as accounting, financial and budgetary offenses.
In order to detect and prevent such compliance violations, we naturally rely on our employees as well as our external colleagues and partners.
We therefore ask you to inform us if you discover or even suspect any signs of a compliance violation.
