The ZBW shows its solidarity with Ukraine, closing ranks with the Alliance of German Science Organisations, freezes all cooperations with government institutions and businesses in Russia and develops specific measures to support scientists from Ukraine.

The ZBW suspends all usage agreements with partners or researchers from Russia with immediate effect. This affects research content from Russia. Access to such content on the publication server EconStor will be blocked until further notice.

To help Ukrainian scientists, the ZBW supports the initiative “Hamburg Science Bridge Germany-Ukraine”. In addition, the ZBW is commited to safeguarding Ukrainian research findings and data from economics, social sciences and related disciplines on systems in the EU.
