In Kiel, individual workstations are available in the open areas on the first and second floors. You will also find our air-conditioned reading room on the second floor, where you can work in peace and quiet. All workstations have power connections for the use of your mobile device.
Group study area
For group work, there are two group study rooms on the second floor which can accommodate several study groups. An e-screen is available in both rooms for collaborative work on documents. It is not necessary to make a reservation.
Lounge for creative ideas
In our lounge on the first floor, you can let your thoughts run free, relax or work alone or in a group in a creative atmosphere. You will also find a small play corner for children and a charging station to charge your smartphone free of charge.
Book carts
Do you work regularly at the ZBW and don't want to carry your work materials with you all the time? Why not use our free book carts to conveniently store your documents? The carts can be reserved for two months via the service counter and are located on the first and second floors.
